Six degrees events – event management

The name “six degrees events” derives from the concept of “Six Degrees of Separation”.

Six Degrees of Separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one step away from each person they know and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people they know, then everyone is an average of six “steps” away from each person on Earth.

The theory was originally researched in 1929 by a Hungarian author named Frigyes Karinthy, and continued later by Michael Gurevich and Stanley Milgrim.

Building success with six degrees events

Our name, six degrees events, relates the theory to our business success and reputation to date and the world of events.

Many business relationships have materialised and grown through clients, colleagues, suppliers ‘passing’ your name on as well as by meeting at an event – Six Degrees of Separation in action.
